Before law school, Lorrie gained valuable experience as a Junior Associate at Baker & McKenzie LLP in Shanghai, China, where she specialized in corporate compliance and cross-border mergers & acquisitions. At the law school Entrepreneurship Clinic, Lorrie continues to develop her skills in business law by working with startups. With her diverse background in law, Lorrie applies thoughtful expertise in her role as a law clerk.

Sydney is a current JD Candidate at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Sydney is involved on campus as the secretary for the Intellectual Property Association as well as on the executive board for the Federalist Society and the Wine Law Association. Her undergraduate background in biomedical engineering and mathematics has sparked her interest in intellectual property and patent law. Sydney spent the final year of her undergraduate career working on her capstone project creating an optimized diaphragm membrane for use in medical catheters. Her experience in engineering provides her a unique and analytical approach to handling legal issues.
